Julie began her career in 2013 in the dynamic city of Dubai, where her background as a flight attendant gave her a deep appreciation for global travel, cultural nuance, and exceptional service. In 2017, she returned to Canada and founded Julie K Events (JKE), a boutique planning firm dedicated to delivering seamless, high-touch experiences with meticulous attention to detail.
Headquartered in Halifax, Nova Scotia—where Julie was born and raised—JKE has become known for its elevated planning approach and thoughtfully curated events. The company is expanding to Calgary in January 2026, continuing its mission to provide premium wedding, event, and destination planning services across Canada and beyond.
Julie’s latest venture, Travel Easy, her full-service travel agency, further enhances the client experience by offering expertly planned travel solutions alongside her event and destination services.
